"If you're having trouble choosing a photo, imagine it hanging on your wall."

A good reference photo is the most important step in creating the perfect pet drawing. You don't need an expensive camera, as long as your pet is well lit and clear. Ideally, you want to take your picture in natural daylight, to capture as much detail as possible. Remember, that your reference photo will be directly reflected in the finished artwork.

If you're having trouble choosing a photo, try to pick one by imagining it hanging on your wall. Would you be happy with the result? If needed we can go through a few different photos, and I can suggest the one most suitable for a pencil drawing.
